This failure had driven more than one crazy and was certainly very unpleasant as it consisted of the disconnection of the command. So you can imagine what it means to be at the top of a game and suddenly lose control of your character.

Luckily, it seems that this error is going to stop annoying at once and for this, all you have to do is apply this firmware update for the month of March 2021.

How to update your Xbox Series X and S

To apply the latest Xbox firmware update and successive ones that will arrive, all you have to do is follow the following steps:

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller and access the menu
  2. Now, go to  Profile and system> Settings> System> Updates
  3. Within that menu select the Console Update option available
  4. If there is a new update, it will appear on the screen and you will only have to click accept to apply it. If nothing appears, you are on the latest firmware version

When the new update has been applied the possible problems of disconnection of the remote control among others should already be solved. At least that is what Microsoft itself confirms along with the rest of the news that arrive and that are summarized in these points.

  • New Auto HDR and FPS Boost  modes that in certain compatible games provide interesting improvements. Especially FPS Boost that offers greater fluidity
  • Improved compatibility with the new Xbox headsets
  • New management options for games, apps, achievements and subscriptions

Microsoft continues to round out the experience

Not long ago we told you the differences between both Xbox Series X and Series S , although both offered a very similar experience in terms of the game. It is true that there are quality differences due to the power of each machine, but both are very much enjoyed.

Now all that continues to improve with this new update thanks to the image modes, the correction of the problem with the controls and those improvements with the headphones that give the option to control the equalizer, reinforce the bass and even everything that has to do with the use of the microphone.

So don’t even think about it, you never have to think about updating any device. You can wait a few days in case an unknown problem arises, but right now applying this from Xbox is completely safe.
