Since its arrival in Spain, SkyShowtime has been priced at 2.99 euros forever as a welcome promotion. A price that we can have forever, month by month, if we contract the platform before April 25, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. and that will allow us to have all the content forever for less than three euros. If we contract it later, the price is 5.99 euros per month. In any case and at any price, we can share an account on SkyShowtime.
What the terms of use say
If we consult the conditions of use of SkyShowtime we will see that among the examples of “things that you should not do” we find the following: “Share your login information with other people outside your household, access or try to access the accounts of others SkyShowtime users (other than members of your household) or tampering with the security measures of the services”. Like almost all streaming platforms, they can keep an eye on this practice and close your account. Although it is not usual.
As always in these cases, it is not recommended that you share an account with a lot of different people, but nothing will happen if you share an account with your brother, with your partner, with your mother or with your partner or roommate. We can create up to six different profiles for six different people who can be adults or children, because SkyShowtime gives us the option of creating child profiles as well.
To create profiles, the steps are very simple:
- We open the SkyShowtime website in the browser
- We access our account with username and password
- We open the account section and we will see the profiles created
- We touch on the “+” that we will find on the right
Once we have arrived here, the first thing we can do is choose an avatar from among all those available. You can choose some cartoon characters, protagonists of popular sitcoms like The Office or series like Halo. Unlike other platforms, there are still few options available.
Once we have chosen the avatar that interests us, SkyShowtime will ask us if it is a child profile or not (for children under twelve years of age) and finally we choose a profile name that will be the one we see on the main screen.
You repeat the process as many times as you want or need (up to six) and you will have all the profiles created to use independently on SkyShowtime.
