Google does not stop increasing the security of Chrome

Well, we tell you all this because at the moment the aforementioned Google is working on a new security function. It is actually responsible for carrying out a security check that will allow users to scan the browser for problems related to it.
That is why in these same lines we are going to tell you how to carry out a security analysis in this way. Of course, first of all we must take into account that this new function called Security Check, for the moment is available in the Canary version of Chrome . Therefore, it may take some time before it is published in the stable version.
At the same time we must know that different independent checks will be carried out here. To begin with, a check is made to see if we are using the latest version of Chrome . It also scans stored passwords and provides a list of compromised passwords on the Internet. On the other hand, the functionality checks if the safe browsing system is updated, and checks if there is any malicious extension.
How to use the new Security Check function
Once we know all this, in order to carry out a check of all this that we have mentioned, in Chrome, the first thing will be to open the program’s settings. We can do this through chrome: // settings that we type in the address bar. So, in the new window that appears, we have to locate the Security Check section.
It will be at that moment when we will find the button called Check now, where we click to start the process as such. Thus the program itself will carry out the aforementioned checks. Once it is finished, if necessary Chrome will show us a series of recommendations to improve security when using the program.
Similarly, the Google software will offer us the recommended actions based on the results of the analysis. This may include movements such as updating Google Chrome , updating safe browsing settings, removing malicious extensions, or changing compromised passwords .
