Whether you are a tremendously active user on Facebook or someone who barely goes through the social network, you probably have the odd photo (and video) uploaded to your profile that you would like to keep and have better security. If this is the case, and you do not want to go, one by one, by downloading the images from your albums, there is a way to transfer everything you have in your gallery from said platform to Google Photos. And we will explain how it is done.
Facebook, the social network par excellence
Despite the fact that Facebook has lost steam in recent times, it is still the reference social network for many. The great network of Mark Zuberger was established at the time as a meeting place and contacts around the entire planet and rare is the one who today does not have an account on said platform – or, at least, has had one.

Among his problems with the treatment that is made of privacy and the arrival of other social networks, as we said, the pace has slowed down a lot, but although you no longer enter as regularly as before and prefer to walk better on Instagram or TikTok, for sure that in your profile they keep a good collection of photos that you would like to have in your possession (and not lose in case you plan to unsubscribe at some point).

To do this, the company has developed a new tool that allows Facebook users to transfer their photos and videos directly to other storage services, starting with Google Photos. In the future, more options will be available, but to start, the platform has preferred to offer only a single transfer route and expand with other alternatives later.
