Everything indicates that we are less than a month away for the presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy S21. This year, the Korean company advances its most important presentation, in which its new flagships will be made official. Before that happens, the leaks continue to do their thing and now we can see the first real press image, belonging to the Galaxy S21.
As is usual, Samsung is being whipped by the famous leakers, who seem to enter a competitive spiral to release more and more accurate data with each passing day. The turn has now been for Evan Blass, who has shown us the first press image of the Galaxy S21. Let’s remember that until now, we had been able to approach the design of this series, but based on images generated taking into account leaked information.
Changes in sight?
As we see in the snapshot, it is difficult today to differentiate one smartphone from another. The source indicates that we are looking at the Galaxy S21 5G, which in its front part is little distinguished from the previous generation, since the real aesthetic changes are in the rear. Therefore, we see a screen with narrow frames and a single hole to house the selfie sensor. On the right side are the power and volume buttons, as we had seen in the previous conceptual designs.

One of the battlefields year after year, is to get the screen to tighten the frames even more. It seems that the Galaxy S21 achieves this, showing less chin at the bottom, although the thickness of the frames on the sides could give the impression of being more pronounced than in the Galaxy S20. Another of the industry leakers, Ice Unicerver, has shared a comparative photo where this aspect is shown, compared to an iPhone 12. Compared to Apple‘s terminal, the Galaxy S21 has a slightly narrower lower frame.
It won’t take long to see them
Although Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the date of its next “Unpacked” , rumors point to January 14 as the most likely date for the presentation of the Galaxy S21. Although the protagonist of the image at hand is the standard model, it will be accompanied by the Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The latter is emerging as a strong candidate to incorporate an S-Pen, the famous stylus that has made the Galaxy Note family so famous.
