Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime: The Brand Reveals Its Features

It’s been a long, long time since we had a Samsung model with the surname “Prime” appear on the market. These vestiges of the defunct Galaxy J family can now be brought back to life by means of a member of the Galaxy M range, specifically the Samsung Galaxy M31.

Samsung introduced the first Galaxy M31 in February and followed up with the Galaxy M31s in July. Now Amazon.in, the Indian division of the online store, has revealed that the Korean tech giant will soon add a new member to the M series, dubbed the Galaxy M31 Prime . And it does so by showing almost all the features of the future mobile phone.

A Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime without secrets

The internet giant has published the page for Samsung’s new smartphone, revealing the design and specifications of the M31 Prime. Of course, it must be clarified that Amazon does not mention calling the phone directly M31 Prime but it does refer to Galaxy M Prime. The secret is revealed by the source code of the page, which reveals mentions of the official name of the phone: Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime .

But names aside, we are going to collect all the specifications of the phone that reveal the images on the product page.

According to the images that we host on these lines, the new mid-range of the Korean firm will be powered by an Exynos 9611 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. It will have two storage options, 64GB and 128GB, and it will come with a dedicated slot for a microSD card that allows storage expansion up to 512GB more.

With a 6,000 mAh battery that will be charged through a USB-C port with a fast charge of 15W, it will have a total of five cameras on board: a 32MP front sensor that allows us to record video in slow motion at 4K , and a quad camera setup on the back that features a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide angle, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. Other aspects that stand out from what is seen on the Amazon page of the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime include a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

We would be left to know details of the screen but seeing that both the Galaxy M31 and the M31s have FullHD + AMOLED screens with a diagonal of 6.4 “and 6.5”, respectively, we expect something similar in the M31 Prime.

There is no planned release date for this phone but seeing as it is going to be presented via Amazon and its last name, it would not be far fetched that it will be launched next Tuesday, during Amazon Prime Day .
