While Samsung knows how to put the best of itself in the high-end range, the company moves with great ease in the mid-range and entry. It is precisely in the latter that the Samsung Galaxy M11 makes its debut, a terminal that made its debut months ago in the Indian market, but had not yet made an appearance in Europe. Now it appears available in the old continent according to confirmed Samsung, and at a groundbreaking price.
It is usual in the Galaxy M family, that its members are presented first in India before making the leap to other markets. Not in vain was a family created expressly to fight against brands like Realme or Xiaomi. Not all Galaxy M mobiles arrive in Europe and when they do, it may have been a few months since their official departure in India, as is the case with the Galaxy M11.
Modest but complete
The Galaxy M11 features a 6.4-inch HD + Infinity-O LCD screen with HD + resolution and a drop-shaped notch. On the back, the Galaxy M11 has a fingerprint sensor for unlocking and a triple rear camera. It consists of a 13MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture accompanied by a 5MP wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth detection camera. The rear cameras support video recording up to 1080p. Regarding the front camera, it is an 8MP sensor that is housed in the aforementioned notch.
Processor and memory
Under the hood we find a Snapdragon 450 that comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. This seems to be the only version that is available, or at least the only one announced by Samsung in the Netherlands, since we remember that in India there is an extra variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. This memory can be expanded up to 512 GB using microSD cards. The terminal has a generous 5,000 mAh battery, something that is increasingly common in the mid-range, but nothing special in the Galaxy M series that always boasts great autonomy. It is also compatible with fast charging of 15W.
Lastly, the connectivity options including USB Type-C connector for charging and data transfer, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Dual SIM support. Also, it works with Android 10 and Samsung’s One UI 2.0 layer.
