Russia follows in Huawei’s footsteps

They claim that it would be easier to launch a mobile services platform for an open Android-based operating system than for the Aurora operating system, since most of the Russian applications were created for Android and their adaptation to Aurora would require additional resources. For this reason, in terms of mobile phones and tablets, it was decided to make this operating system based on Android.
VK has already launched its RuStore app store . They would have to replace Google services with functional apps and get it all set. The initiative seems to be underway, although it may not come as soon as we hope since only the new Aurora operating system is scheduled for 2030, and although this is simpler, it takes time.
