One thing we’ve seen in all the RTX 40-related controversy since the leak was the assumption that AD103 will be the RTX 4080 chip and AD102 the RTX 4090 chip. network gossips. What is known is that it is the AD102 chip that NVIDIA already has ready and with which it is making the first graphics cards. If the rumors are true, then the RTX 4090’s AD102 chip is going to offer double the power of the standard RTX 3090, then we have to assume that it has to offer a higher power value per dollar. Assuming that the current generation card came out almost two years ago for a price of 1,549 euros, then the RTX 4090 logically has to be priced below 3,000 euros. Of course, above the price of the 3090 Ti, which is €2,249.
So NVIDIA’s top of the range for the next generation could easily be placed at €3,000 . A price that places it outside the gaming market in general and is more of a professional graphics card. Well, the logical thing is to think that the 3090 Ti have a very short-lived life in stores, that they are seen and not seen and are quickly replaced by the top-of-the-range model. Although for that price we don’t even think that NVIDIA has any justification to sell it as RTX 4090 Ti even. Is it possible that we will see an RTX TITAN Ada ? And what about gaming architectures? Well, if you think about it, it would not be a surprise to see an RTX 4090 based on the new board and with an average TGP of 600 W and then an RTX 4080 at 450 W.
