In a traditional way, Apple releases the Golden Master before the final launch of the new versions of operating systems. But Tim Cook has made it clear that this will not be the case since this same day, September 16, iOS 14 , iPadOS 14, watchOS 7 and tvOS 7 will be officially launched .
This makes perfect sense, since the launch of both the Apple Watch Series 6 and SE and the eighth-generation iPad is scheduled for this Friday. In the presentation itself, it has been seen that these teams will already come with these versions that are currently in beta. That is why it is logical to think that they have to release the updates days before to prepare everything for this launch. Last year, for example, the launch of iOS 13 was also very close to the release of the new iPhone 11 Pro. This is unlikely because GM is the same version that all users receive on their devices on launch day.
