It has been a long time since the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi 9 were presented, but nevertheless Xiaomi and users with these models continue to live with a very annoying error. The failure focuses on video and audio , as both are dethroned randomly on the device and although we may think that it is an error in the apps, it is not.
Now the Chinese manufacturer has admitted the error in their forums and that has done nothing more than agree with my network of users who have been alerting developers to the problem for weeks and even months. We can find topics on Reddit, on Xiaomi forums and on countless social networks such as Twitter. An error whose origin is unknown and which was not solved with any of the patches that the terminal has received with MIUI 12 included both in Xiaomi’s super-selling mid-range smartphone and not in the entry-level model.
Audio becomes independent from video in Xiaomi
What has happened to all these users is something strange and that until now had not appeared widely on mobile phones. At the moment when users are watching a video on the smartphone, the audio from the beginning does not match the video and this causes the delay to make it impossible to continue playing. The problem has appeared both in video recordings that have been made with the terminal’s camera, as well as with content that is reproduced online.
In the tests of some users, problems have also been found on certain occasions when trying to watch WhatsApp, Instagram or Twitter videos. This makes it clear to us that the problem is not in the Xiaomi gallery, which could have a much simpler solution. However, if we pass the video to another terminal or device, the synchronized audio and video problem in Xiaomi Redmi disappears, unless it is recorded with the mobile.
Is there any solution?
In all this time that the problem has persisted until Xiaomi has confirmed the error, users have not found a solution beyond restarting the smartphone, but nevertheless after two days everything repeats itself. At least we already know that the company is working on a solution and we hope that it reaches the global market as soon as possible with the intention that we can finally see and listen to the videos as they deserve.
