Technical characteristics

Similar to X50 Pro

The terminal has the same design as the realme X50 Pro, but has some enhanced hardware features. You have to have a lot of elements are similar, like Snapdragon 865 processor , 5G connectivity or 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate. LPDRR5 RAM memory technologies or UFS 3.0 storage are also present. In this sense, the battery will maintain the same capacity of the original X50 Pro. This means it has 4,200 mAh that can be charged from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes thanks to 65W charging technology. Realme claims that just three minutes of charging provides one hour of calls.

More power in games

However, the terminal comes with HyperBoost 3.0 as a new feature, which allocates all the power and energy to increase the gaming experience . Also, all notifications will be disabled and background apps disabled. In this way, all the resources of the mobile will be focused on offering smoother games.

Optimize connections

HyperBoost 3.0 also makes smart connectivity changes between Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G to improve game latency and prevent crashes. Graphite sheets have also been integrated between the battery and the rear panel to better dissipate heat and avoid overheating that will undermine the performance of the terminal.

Without 64MP sensor

The realme X50 Pro Player Edition has been created to focus on the game, making photography take a back seat. This means that another of the big differences from the realme X50 Pro is in the camera section. The terminal exchanges its brother’s 64-megapixel main camera for a 48-megapixel sensor. The telephoto camera gives way to a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The 32 megapixel wide angle camera gives way to a 16 megapixel sensor and the depth sensor is 2 megapixels instead of 8 megapixels. It is a full-fledged hardware “downgrade”, which will not matter to many users focused on spending the day playing and not taking photos.
