The realme X2 Pro is one of the most powerful mobiles of the moment and that has a ground-breaking price for a high-end caliber. However, it has a lot of rivals from brands like Xiaomi. The realme X2 Pro has been falling in price and now we find it at the same price as a Xiaomi Black Shark 2 . For this reason, we are going to look closely at both terminals to see which one is worth buying the most, if we have to pay the same price.
When we want to buy a high-end, it is no longer necessary to go at prices that exceed 500 euros. In addition, the competition is so fierce, that the launches of the different brands follow one another constantly to beat their rivals. When two titans like the realme X2 Pro and the Black Shark 2 meet at the same price, it’s normal for doubts to arise about which device to buy. Right now, we see that the two terminals are available on Amazon for 439 euros.
Screen and dimensions
When we look at the screens, we see that the realme X2 Pro has a 6.5-inch screen and FullHD + resolution. The same resolution is found in the Black Shark 2, but with a smaller size of 6.39 inches. It is also important to appreciate that the realme has a notch on its front, while the Black Shark 2 has a classic frame to house the front sensor. Both terminals have practically the same pixel density per inch, with 402 of the realme mobile, compared to 403 of the Black Shark 2.
As for weight and thickness, the Black Shark 2 reaches 205 grams with its 8.8 millimeters, while the realme X2 Pro is 8.7 millimeters and 199 grams thick. It is not an excessive difference that may decide the purchase decision, but it should be taken into account.
Processor and memory
When lifting the hood we find Qualcomm’s hand in both cases. However, the realme X2 Pro has the Snapdragon 855+, a vitaminized version of the Snapdragon 855 that integrates the Black Shark 2, therefore, the power is on the side of realme with that more powerful variant of last year’s Qualcomm flagship chip . At the same price, the realme X2 Pro offers the 12GB variant of RAM with 256 storage, while the Black Shark 2 is the 8GB version of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Very different cameras
There is no color either in the camera section, since the realme X2 Pro has four rear sensors including a main one of 64 megapixels, in addition to a telephoto lens and a wide angle. The Black Shark 2, despite not doing anything wrong, has a dual rear camera with 48 megapixel sensors and a 12 megapixel telephoto lens. On the front the Black Shark 2 has a 20 megapixel sensor, and the realme X2 Pro is left with 16 megapixels.
Connections and battery
The two terminals have the main connections including Bluetooth 5, NFC or an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Both are based on Android 9 Pie, and the layers from their respective manufacturers, although they will soon receive the patch to update to Android 10. As for the battery, both reach 4,000 mAh, although the realme fast charge is 50W. compared to 27W from the Black Shark 2.
At the same price
As we said at the beginning, both terminals can be purchased right now for 439 euros. Given the technical differences, the realme X2 Pro is a more powerful and modern terminal , which can act as a mobile gaming device even if it does not have the appropriate aesthetics. The Black Shark 2 is still a very powerful terminal, but it has two generations above, including the Black Shak 2 Pro and the Black Shark 3.
