It is a reality that children access the screens of our mobiles every time before. Before they are even old enough to have their own device, they start messing around with some videos or games designed for them. Before, you had to install third-party applications to better manage the time or use that the child gives to our mobile, but now we have tools integrated into the manufacturers’ own layers, such as the Realme Kids Space
Having a precise control of the use that the child makes of the mobile is a mandatory task for every parent or guardian. It is for this reason that functions such as the Realme Kids Space allow us to activate some limitations so that things do not get out of hand. The “Kids Mode” was already present in Realme phones with ColorOS, but when updating to RealmeUI, the function has changed slightly as well as the way it is activated.
How to activate Child Mode
In order to activate the Kids Space on Realme mobiles, we will have to go to Settings and once inside touch on “Privacy“. Once inside we will see the section dedicated to the Kids Space . We will only have to touch to access its main functions.
Maximum session duration
In this way we can choose a limit of use that varies between 15 minutes and 3 hours. After this time, the mobile will be automatically blocked to prevent its continued use.
Allowed applications
It is responsible for restricting the use of all applications that the child should not have access to. That is, we can leave activated only those games or applications that the child uses , blocking all the others.
Disable mobile network
This function makes mobile data disabled within the Kids Space. This prevents the child from being able to access paid functions or spend the mobile rate. The purpose of the tool is to prevent games or applications from being charged by automatically sending SMS.
When we have configured these three options we will click on “Enter Kids Space” to activate the mode. We can leave at any time, but always entering our lock password. Also during use, the child will not be able to make system-level modifications such as changing settings or installing or uninstalling applications.
