This option will allow us to more easily safeguard our privacy. Personal information security is more secure since the arrival of Realme UI. The user can choose which specific applications can access their personal data and which ones will receive empty information. This feature is especially useful when we believe that an application should not receive personal information from this type of content. However, we must bear in mind that the activation of this function could affect the use of the functions in some applications. That is, it may have to be selected in less reliable apps such as some games or photo retouching apps, but deactivated for apps for daily use such as our bank’s app.
The protection of this option includes the history of calls, contacts, messages and events. This function allows you to accept the permissions of some apps to be able to work with them, but it modifies the way they receive the data. As we say, this option is disabled by default, so we will have to activate it in Settings / Privacy / Protection of Personal Information. Likewise, we will be able to mark the option of “Intelligent Protection” so that it is the system that determines whether or not to activate the protection for the new installed applications.
