Realme C12: Realme’s New Cheap Mobile Phones Are Here

Indonesia has been the region chosen by Realme to launch one of those phones that we hope will soon land in our country as soon as possible to encourage competition between devices. In this case, the brand’s new ultra-cheap Realme C12 arrives with the firm intention of dethroning Redmi‘s cheap phones.

Realme C12: Realme's New Cheap Mobile

This phone has as its main weapon a large capacity battery that, as the brand anticipated the days before the raid, has a size of 6,000 mAh. The appearance of the mobile is similar to that of its brother Realme C15, with a geometric gradient design and a notch in the shape of a drop of water with a square camera module on the back.

In this aforementioned rear art where we also find a fingerprint sensor is the square module where the three cameras of the mobile are located. Realme says the main sensor is 13 MP, combined with a 2 MP black and white camera and a 2 MP macro sensor.

In front, the screen of the Realme C12 has a size of 6.5 inches with HD + resolution where, at the top, is the 5 MP selfie camera. The brand has decided to trust MediaTek to ensure a good performance of the set, which is why inside the mobile phone we come across the Helio G35 chipset combined with 3GB of RAM. 32 GB of internal memory which, being scarce, provides a microSD slot for expansion.

The brand says that its 6,000 mAh battery (without fast charging but with reverse charging options) offers an autonomy of 57 days on standby, YouTube viewing for 28 hours and listening to Spotify up to 60 hours. This is achieved thanks to a power saving mode feature that, when activated, only runs the six most used applications.

Price and availability

Realme C12

The phone goes on sale in the Asian country in Coral Red and Marine Blue colors. This Realme C12 goes on sale on August 16 through the official website of the brand starting at a price of 1,899,000 Indonesian rupees. However, the brand lowers this price the first days of launch to 1,749,000. This, in exchange, would stay below 100 euros, without the application of taxes.

At the moment there is no data of its arrival in Europe, but we would not be surprised if Realme soon sold this new competitor to the Redmi 9 in our country.
