The mid-range is more at odds than ever and Realme and Redmi have a lot to offer for very low prices, as is the case with Realme 5 Pro and Redmi Note 8 Pro . Processors and memory
In the section of the components responsible for moving both devices we find a Snapdragon 712 at 2.2 GHz for Realme, a processor that performs very well in different complicated situations. In the Redmi NOte 8 Pro model we find the Mediatek Helio G90T at 2.05 GHz less usual and that can perform in a similar way although warming up something else.
Rear and front cameras
The photographic section does not have a clear dominant given that we have versatility options that will allow us to enjoy an identical wide-angle macro lens and also one designed to achieve the best portrait mode.
Only in the main lens can we observe how the Realme 5 Pro stays below the 64 Mpx that the Redmi Note 8 Pro has. In the front cameras the same occurs, the Redmi Note 8 Pro offers 20 Mpx that surpass by little 16 Mpx Realme 5 Pro.
Battery and customization layers
With enough autonomy to end the day in both cases, but with a plus of energy we find the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which also has a fast load of 18 W and in the case of Realme with its VOOC 3.0 technology that offers a very good solution.
As for the MIUI customization layers in the Redmi NOte 8 Pro, it offers us results that are well known to users, with very good and optimized performance. In the case of Realme, Color OS 6 is still in the market adaptation phase and has some small details yet to be polished.
The price makes the differences
We have seen that the differences are not very important in mobile phones, only finding small details that will make us opt for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, being a more established brand, with a better known personalization layer and a better battery. Although for the price and the difference that we find them, the Realme 5 Pro can be a fantastic option for those who do not want to pass the barrier of 200 euros.
