Realme phones feature the Realme UI layer, a first on the market, after its first version was released a few months ago. This layer has a lot of room for improvement, but it already offers us some interesting features, such as the one we tell you today to lock the screen without touching any button.
Normally to turn off the screen of a phone, or lock it, which is the same, we need to touch one of its physical buttons. With the trick that we tell you below, it is not necessary to touch any button, because with this native functionality it can be done quickly and easily.
Lock the screen with a few “taps”
Yes, that simple you can turn off the screen or lock your Realme . Normally you would use the on / off button to do it, since with it it is the most common and default way to do it on any phone.
But the Realme customization layer has a faster and easier way to do it, and it is not a function that we find in the phone’s own settings, but it is in the same place where you edit some of the functionalities of the screen and telephone desk .
How is this blocking method activated?
Well, it is very simple, since for this we must access the same screen of your Realme where you normally choose the widgets that will be integrated into the home screen of the phone. In order to activate this functionality you must do the following:
- Long press on an area of the home screen where there is no icon or direct access to an app
- Click on settings
- The “home screen and wallpaper” settings will open
- Slide down the menu
- Activate “Double tap to lock”
Once this functionality has been activated, we will only have to give two taps with the finger on an empty area of the home screen so that the screen turns off and the phone locks completely. You can also continue to do so by pressing on the power button, but it is much more convenient to double-tap this empty area of the screen so that the phone locks completely.
Logically, if this method does not convince you, you just have to do the reverse process , and deactivate this functionality by pressing the slider again. Personally, I think it is one of the best options to lock the phone, since it does not force us to take the phone from the sides, but with the same finger that we have been browsing, the phone is instantly locked.
