The so-called S-Pen is the biggest hallmark of the Samsung Galaxy Note family. This “stylus” has evolved over the years, since the first terminal of the series was put on sale back in 2011. Since then, thousands and thousands of S Pen have been lost, for not using a simple trick in order to avoid it.
We know that the original accessories of the brands have prices that, in general, have to make us be very careful with the ones we have. All Samsung Galaxy Note come with S Pen , which allows you to interact with your screen in many fields, be it in creativity, productivity or simply to surf the Internet and take notes or take screenshots.
Alarm not to lose it
The S Pen is located in a compartment inside the Galaxy Note itself. This means that we take it out several times a day, which puts us at risk of leaving it forgotten after using it. Luckily, Samsung integrates an option to avoid it, but we will have to activate it, since it is disabled by default. In this way, the terminal will warn us with an audible alarm, if we move away with the mobile without the S Pen being inserted in its slot, in order to avoid forgetting it somewhere.
To activate this function we will have to go to “Settings” and tap on “Advanced Functions” and then on the “S Pen” option to enter all the pen settings. Once done we move to the bottom and click on the switch next to “Alarm”. From this moment, an alarm will warn us when we move a few meters away from the S Pen.
In addition and by default, the Galaxy Note will notify us if the S Pen has been out of the computer for a long time, provided that the terminal is not in use. In this case, the mobile will turn on and display a message reminding you to save the S Pen again. This will make it even more difficult to lose.

It is the moment that nobody wants, but many S Pen are lost throughout the world throughout the year. Fortunately and how could it be otherwise, Samsung offers replacements for the S Pen within its original accessories.
