The great strategy of the UCM goes through something more than its expected releases on the big screen. As you know, in the Disney + service we will also see series belonging to the Marvel universe that will always be related, as their managers have promised us. But what exactly will that connection be like? Now we may have the answer after learning of a major rumor regarding the WandaVision series and the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie . WandaVision, waiting for its premiere
Of all the Marvel series announced by Disney for its content platform , WandaVision’s is possibly one of the most interesting and curious. Not only because we are going to get to know two characters as particular as Scarlet Witch and Vision more closely, but also because of the brief previews seen so far in which a somewhat different format is glimpsed and that can be quite fresh and original.
What remains a mystery is when we can enjoy it. The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on all companies and agendas, disrupting the release dates of numerous projects. WandaVision looks like it was almost ready in terms of filming but it is unknown if they have been able to record what was missing or not. In principle, the release date is this December of (fateful) 2020 and Disney has not ruled on some kind of delay so we will have to trust that they arrive on time.
By then we will know what the family life of these two Avengers is like and also their two children who would precisely serve as a link with the next Doctor Strange movie. What you are reading.
Wiccan and Speed in Doctor Strange 2
If you were also wondering how MCU series and movies would connect, here we have a first clue. According to the MCU Cosmic , the children of Scarlet Witch, Wiccan and Speed , who we will meet for the first time on the small screen through WandaVision , will make an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Maddness.
Its existence is important since they would be putting us on a tray the appetizer for the Young Avengers of which these two mutants are part in the comics (and they should also do it in a future movie).
As expected, in Disney + we will see them therefore as babies -in the image above these lines you can see their cribs and flying pacifiers-, then as children and later as adolescents, which is how they are expected to appear in Doctor Strange 2 , together to Scarlet Witch by the way, who will also be next to the Supreme Sorcerer.
The scenes of Wiccan and Speed as teenagers would in fact have already been recorded for WandaVision, but, as the medium indicates, it has taken everything with so much secrecy that we still do not know which actors give them life.
As for the next Doctor Strange movie, remember that it will still take time to reach theaters, since its premiere, within Phase 5, is scheduled for 2022. We have to wait to continue discovering the great network that Marvel is preparing .
