Within the huge catalog of Xiaomi mobiles, it is common to find terminals whose technical features do not seem to differ in many sections. For this reason, we try to shed some light with our classic comparisons, so that the purchase decision is somewhat easier. In this case, it’s the turn of the Poco X3 and the Mi 10T Lite , two terminals that have many similarities, but important differences.
On many occasions it is not easy to opt for one mobile or another. In addition to the technical factor, we find the price difference, which can sometimes be affected by temporary offers or discounts. In the case of Xiaomi, we are used to their devices going down in price “shortly” after they go on sale. An example we have in the Mi 10T Lite, whose units have not yet reached their first owners, but it can already be purchased at a discount both on Amazon and on the official Xiaomi website.

Screen and dimensions
If we take a look at the screen of both devices, we find that curiously they both practically coincide in dimensions:
- Bit X3 : 165.3 x 76.8 x 10.1 mm
- Mi 10T Lite: 165.3 x 76.8 x 9mm
As we can see, the Poco X3 is slightly thicker and reaches 225 grams, compared to 214.5 grams for its brother. This is surely due to the “plus” of additional battery that the Poc X3 has and that we will see later. The two terminals seem taken from the same mold, with a 6.67-inch clone screen, an aspect ratio of 20: 9 , FullHD + resolution, 395 dpi and a body / frame ratio of 84.6%. In addition, both are protected by Gorilla Glass 5, so in this regard, neither of them offers arguments to weigh in the purchase decision.

Different Snapdragon
It is under the hood that we find the first major difference. The Poco X3 integrates a Snapdragon 732G processor, while the Mi 10T Lite does the same with the Snapdragon 750G. At the performance level, both chips are handled similarly. If we take into account the results of both terminals in a popular program such as AnTuTu, we see that in the same memory configuration (6GB + 64GB) the Poco X3 reaches 300,000 points, while the Mi 10T Lite exceeds 330,000. It is not a huge difference, since both will move games and applications on an almost even level.

However, the Snapdragon 750G, enables connectivity to 5G networks in the Mi 10T Lite , something that at the moment may not be important, but in the near future between two or three years, it may be more crucial, if we are thinking keep mobile for some time. The two terminals offer the same variants with 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. Keep in mind that only in the Poco X3 can this storage be expanded using microSD cards, since the Mi 10T Lite has lost this option.
Quadruple camera with 64 megapixels
If we turn both terminals, we find a configuration of four cameras in each. In addition, they lead the 64 megapixels and both have macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each. The most notable difference is found in the wide-angle sensor, since in the Poco X3 it is 13 megapixels, while in the Mi 10T Lite it drops to 8 megapixels.

At the front, both have a hole to house the front sensor. Once again, the sensor is larger in the Poco X3 reaching 20 megapixels , compared to 16 megapixels in the Mi 10T Lite. Both devices are capable of recording video in 4K resolution at 30fps, but only the Mi 10T Lite records in FullHD at 60fps, while the Poco X3 continues to do so at 30fps.
Connections and battery
In terms of connections, the two teams keep the 3.5mm jack for headphones, and the two have NFC and Bluetooth 5.1. They also have a side fingerprint sensor, infrared port and USB-C 2.0. In the section on the battery, it is important to note that the Poco X3 reaches 5,160 mAh, with a fast charge of 33W , which allows it to reach 100% of the battery in just over an hour. The battery drops to 4,820 mAh in the case of the Mi 10T Lite, but it has the same 33W fast charge as its brother.

Which one do I buy?
If we take a look at the prices, we see that the Poco X3 can be purchased right now on Amazon for about 235 euros in its version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Mi 10T Lite for its part can be purchased for 249 euros but in its variant of 6GB + 64GB of storage. Given these prices, the Poco X3 may be a more attractive terminal , since in this case it is 5G connectivity, which would tip the balance on the side of the Mi 10T Lite.
