With the arrival of Vivo, many things are changing in the company and one of the most important and relevant is the personalization layer. In the Vivo phones that we already found in Spain, we could see the customization layer called FunTouch OS, which is an adaptation of the one used in China for our market. Although now everything changes with the arrival of OriginOS, a layer designed especially for Europe.

Although the hardware of the phones is a very remarkable section, we cannot overlook the software, including the aesthetic section and the functions. In this new layer of Vivo customization , the Chinese giant tries to offer us what we like the most and that is directly related to the purity of Android, although without losing sight of the customization and added functions.
OriginOS, a system halfway between Android and iOS
For lovers of the iPhone operating system, the arrival of OriginOS will undoubtedly be good news because as soon as we observe and know everything that this new layer of customization offers us, we realize the similarity. As we could already see in iOS 14, this layer for Vivo mobiles brings with it a series of smart widgets for Vivo that tries to respond to our needs. However Android 11 and its aesthetics are still very present in turn so that we are aware of the operating system we are using.

At the bottom we find an aesthetic design reminiscent of the iPhone again. We also find the classic shortcuts to applications, which are combined with widgets that we can resize and adapt to our needs.
Personalization first
One of the sections that most characterizes Android is customization and that is something that the developers of Vivo have been very aware of when creating this layer that allows us to adapt the gestures to our needs. In a very intelligent way, it allows us to access multitasking, go back or access the home page, choosing at all times which part of the lower area of the screen we prefer to use.

Using OriginOS
As has been announced, OriginOS in daily use tries to offer us an intelligent use, therefore it integrates automatic functions such as automatic fund changes, something that is not new. As we show you in the images, multitasking once again offers us an intermediate point between what is iOS and Android 11 to see at a glance practically all the apps that we have in the background.

Although in the upper part we have multitasking, in the lower part we have the OriginOS control center that lives directly inherited from the iPhone and with which we have control of WiFi, mobile data, as well as other direct access of course customizable to our taste.
Also worth mentioning is the Always On Display for models with Vivo’s Amoled screen with OriginOS, which is customizable with different design and information. Although what is surprising is that we can use miniature smart control widgets on the lock screen itself, allowing us, for example, to turn on a light bulb with just one touch.

At all times we find the outstanding integration of what we see on the home screen with what the apps offer , as we live in iOS 14. We do not have to access the applications, the widgets show us all the information, although not It has been revealed if you can interact with these or widgets in the same way as on the iPhone. These widgets also give great relevance to the control of home automation and offer us direct control, but what remains in doubt is whether it can be used with any device, regardless of the brand.
Which Vivo mobiles will be able to use OriginOS and when?

It is expected that all Vivo mobiles that arrive in Spain already integrate OriginOS as standard and as for those that we can already find here such as the Vivo X51 5G, Vivo Y70, Vivo Y20s and Vivo Y11s, they will be updated with OriginOS, but without a date still marked on the calendar, we will have to wait to know the official deployment.
