However, a fourth member is still missing, which had not been mentioned and of which OPPO has not given clues, but which has just been leaked.
It is not the first time that we see how a manufacturer leaves aside a “Lite” variant, so as not to be presented with the rest of the models in the family. However, despite being a more modest option in terms of performance and price, it is usually the favorite of many users. Now we know of the existence of this terminal, called Reno5 Lite , as well as some of its technical data.
The more modest version of the Reno5
The OPPO Reno4 series already had a “Lite” version, so it is not surprising that a similar version appears by surprise in the Reno5 family. On this occasion, the Reno5 Lite 5G has been listed on the China 3C certification website. What can be revealed from this listing is that the terminal will arrive with the model number PELM00. It is also detailed that it will arrive with 30W fast charging technology , something understandable in a more modest variant, in that its older brothers have 65W fast charging technology.
Current OPPO Reno4 Lite
However, we are not facing a notable improvement compared to the OPPO Reno4 Lite, since this terminal already had a 30W fast charge, with a 4,015 mAh battery. Unfortunately we can only know about the existence of the Reno5 Lite, since the rest of the technical features have not been revealed. However, when its existence in this certification body is confirmed, it becomes clear that its presentation is more than imminent , although everything indicates that we will have to wait for the first bars of 2021 to know it officially.
What will your rivals be?
The Reno5 Lite will fight in the battle of the mid-range , where the pie is tighter than in any other range. In this sense, the faces should be seen with the new Samsung Galaxy A, with the A52 5G and A72 5G at the top, which have yet to be presented. However, firms such as Xiaomi or Realme prepare their machinery for the mid-range of 2021, where they will not make things easy for the Reno5 Lite.
