The one known as OnePlus Launcher is the official OnePlus ‘launcher’, which is installed as standard on all devices of the company. Now OnePlus announces the new features of version 4.4.2 of its Launcher that it has just updated.

Icons for recent applications
The first big news is the integration of application icons in the list of recent apps. These new icons act as a slider that can be used to scroll through the list more quickly. In this way we can change the app with more ease and we can identify the apps more easily by being able to see that thumbnail in the form of an icon.
In addition, the text “Close applications” has been added in place of the large “X” icon shown above. In order to use the new function we must hold down while sliding up to access the application drawer.
Quick search
Quick search has also been added. To do this we will have to slide up to access the application drawer and we can directly access the search input box . The function seeks to make this function more comfortable, especially when shaping the mobile with one hand.
Now compatible with OnePlus 5
The new OnePlus Launcher update is now available. The update may have already occurred on your mobile if you have automatic updates enabled. However you can check it on Google Play, writing OnePlus Launcher and checking that you have the latest version. The good news is that it is also now compatible with the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, which is good news for these phones that came onto the market in 2017, and that can tell the same news as the most recent ones.
