Samsung mobiles with OneUI can also show balloons above the icons of each app, which can alert us that we have something pending review in the app tab . This option can be activated or deactivated to suit the user, since it is not an option that everyone likes equally.
Notification balloons are the small bubbles that appear on each application when we receive a notification. We can activate the balloons with numbers of the number of notifications we have or leave the function without effect. Generally, the users who want to disable this function are those users who have less time to be aware of all the notifications or pending tasks in the applications. Having many balloons with numbers, warning of pending notifications, can become stressful, especially when they cannot be checked frequently. In this sense, many users seek to deactivate the function, although others do not even know what can be done.
How to turn off app bubbles
In order to manage this function, we will have to slide our finger up or down to access the applications screen . Once inside we enter the Settings and click on “Notifications”. Then we select “Application notification balloons” and slide the switch to the right to activate or deactivate the function. In addition, we can slide down the screen to access more options, such as the ability to see previews of pending messages.
In these options we can choose whether we want to see the balloons with numbers or without numbers. In this way we will see the number of pending tasks in said app, or only the balloon that does not specify the number. In addition, we can make the app show a preview of the notification that we have pending review. We can do this by holding down the application that has the balloon. For this we will have to mark the option “Show notifications” just below the previous option.
Keep in mind that notifications and notification balloons will be linked . In this way, when we slide to download the notifications of missed calls, messages or other events in the notification panel, the notification balloons will also disappear since they will be considered revised.
