Xiaomi is expected to launch the new Xiaomi 12T series in the global market including Spain soon. Let’s keep in mind that, last year, the Xiaomi 11T was presented in mid-September, so we would be a few weeks away from knowing these high-end models inspired by the manufacturer’s top of the range.
Before the launch, a few days ago, the price and colors of Xiaomi’s smartphone fruits were revealed, but now we know many more details thanks to the appearance of the 12T Pro model in the FCC database. Here the Xiaomi device is seen with the model number 22081212UG and, according to the leak, it will have support for dual SIM, it will be compatible with 4G LTE and 5G networks, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. The device will also come with support for NFC and, in terms of its different configurations, we would have one with 12 + 256 GB , another with 8 + 256 GB and, the smallest, with 8 + 128 GB of memory.

Apart from its connectivity options and its different memory configurations, we already know that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a 200MP Samsung HP1 sensor , one of the largest seen in the current phone industry. It should also work with the best Qualcomm processor of the year, that is, with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that would make the terminal one of the most powerful of the manufacturer.
To this must be added the presence of a more than likely 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support of up to 120 W. It is expected to have a 6.67 -inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and to work with Android 12 and MIUI 13 as a customization layer.
And the Xiaomi 12T?
Obviously, this model would have lower capacities than its brother. Typically, the differences between the ‘T’ models and their ‘T Pro’ counterparts lie in their battery and camera. For this reason, it is conceivable that the Xiaomi 12T would have a lower resolution sensor, probably 108 MP , and a battery of the same capacity, but a much lower charging speed .
This would leave us with a model with the same processor and the same screen in terms of size, resolution and refresh rate. Of course, the 12 + 256 GB model would not be found in this version of the mobile either.
Xiaomi 12T prices
As we said at the beginning of this article, a few days ago it was leaked that the brand’s new smartphones, inheriting the design of the Xiaomi 12 series, would go on sale in black, silver and blue. This same leak detailed that the phones were more expensive than last year’s models.
The Xiaomi 12T would go on sale starting at a figure of 609 or 649 euros while, it is to be imagined, that the Xiaomi 12T Pro would go on sale for a figure 100 euros higher in each model.
The brand has not yet announced the presentation date of these smartphones, so we still have to wait a bit to confirm all this data.
