Netflix is the famous streaming service through which you can watch movies, series and other paid content with a monthly subscription, in addition to having several games at your disposal. Whether you’re using it for the first time on Android or if you’ve already had the app for a long time, a problem may arise that you don’t know how to get out of.
For this reason, we will tell you about the problems that can occur with Netflix on Android devices and how you can easily solve them, as well as detect what may be happening. We have already told you how to solve problems with downloads on too many devices, now you will know what else can happen with your account in the famous streaming service.

‘device not supported’ message
If you try to download the application on your mobile, you may see the message that this application is not compatible with the device. On devices with older versions of Android or that do not have Pay Protect certification, you will not be able to download this app directly from the Play Store.
If this is the case, you may need to install a simplified version that you can download directly from Netflix itself. To do this you will have to download and install Nefflix after giving:
- Settings
- Security
- Unknown sources: Allow installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store
- To accept

This is the installation process after downloading the APK, since to install this application from the Play Store you need to have an Android version greater than 4.4.2.
Unable to login
If you get an error message when you log in, you’ll know what’s going on. If the message is Incorrect Password or you have forgotten it, you will have to change it. There may also be problems such as no account found with this email address, something went wrong and please try again later, or there was a problem logging in. If there is another message, you can search for it in the Help Center by indicating the message or code that appears.
You can also try signing in to your account from a different device to see if the problem is with the device itself or with all of them. You may need to check your email, if the password is correct or change it to another. You can update your information from here .

It does not hurt that you first of all check if Netflix is down and it is a temporary situation that does not only happen to you, so you will only have to wait. You can check it here. You can also see the status of their servers on other services like Downdetector.
If you have it from a third party, look for it in the Netflix Help Center. If you use a gift card or payment method, contact customer service.
Netflix asks you to register when trying to log in
If it asks you to register when you try to log in, the best thing to do is go to this link and hit Logout. After doing so, click Sign in and enter your email address and password. If it still doesn’t show up, you may have the wrong account, you haven’t paid the charges, or it may be a temporary problem.
Netflix crashes, won’t load, or stops responding
If the service stops responding, won’t finish loading, or crashes, but you’ve verified that your device is working properly, you’ll need to update your device information. You can do it in the link that we have told you previously.
If it happens when starting the application, you can try to turn off the mobile and turn it on again. You can also try restarting your router or home network, or find out how to improve your internet signal. If other cases occur, please contact Netflix. If you have updated, try to return to the previous version, and if you have not done so, it is recommended that you do so for security.
