Motorola has introduced the new Moto G Stylus and Moto G8 Power by surprise . These are two mid-range terminals that have much in common, but some important technical difference. In addition, with the G Stylus we are facing the first terminal of the brand to offer a Galaxy Note style stylus. The Moto G Power on the other hand, promises one of the greatest autonomies of the Motorola catalog.
As Motorola has proposed these two new devices, they become part of the Moto G family, and join the G8 Plus and G8 Play presented at the end of last year. We will see in detail the technical characteristics of both devices, as well as the differences of one over another.

Processor and memory
As we see, there are technical details that are common to both, such as the 6.4-inch screen size and FullHD + resolution . We also see that both integrate the mid-range Snapdragon 665 processor , which is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM on both computers. However, the Moto G Stylus reaches 128 GB of internal memory, compared to the 64 GB of storage of the Moto G8 Power. Both teams maintain the expansion slot for microSD cards up to 512 GB.
Triple camera
We found a triple rear camera in both terminals. However, the Moto G Stylus has a main sensor of 48 megapixels, being 16 megapixels in the Moto G8 Power. Both have wide-angle and macro sensors, as well as a 16-megapixel selfie sensor, housed in individual holes in the upper front of the screen. Another of the big differences is that only the Moto Stylus has laser autofocus, so that its brother’s range and speed and accuracy.
The wide-angle camera is 16 megapixels in the Moto G Stylus and reaches an angle of 117 degrees ideal for action shots. In the case of the Moto G8 Power this camera goes down to 8 megapixels, with a viewing angle of 118 degrees.
The first with Stylus
The Moto G Stylus goes directly to compete with the Galaxy Note series with a very economical bet that will allow the user to interact with a stylus. This way it can be written on your screen or used as a camera shutter , although the functions are much more limited than in the Samsung S-Pen. The good news is that both teams arrive with Android 10 as standard, although we see another big difference in their batteries. How could it be otherwise, the Moto G8 Power boasts its name when mounting a 5,000 mAh battery, for the 4,000 mAh of the Moto G Stylus. Both have 10W fast charging technology. With greater prominence in this field, Motorola ensures that the Moto G8 Power can hold up to three days on with a single charge. The terminal promises up to 150 hours of music or 23 hours of video. Device standby mode allows it to be on for 27 days.
Price and date of sale
For now, the Moto G Stylus and the Moto G8 Power will launch in the United States and Canada next spring. Their prices will be $ 300 for the Moto G Stylus and $ 250 for the Moto G8 Power. With regard to Spain, Motorola has confirmed the arrival of the Moo G8 Power for next March at a price of 249 euros.
