If there is one function that many users cannot go without, it is the screenshot. Being able to stop time and capture a piece of our screen opens a huge range of possibilities, such as personal notes or to share any type of information with other users. Motorola‘s mobiles are no less, and they also have several systems to take screenshots.

As we have seen on other occasions, each brand can have its own methods for taking screenshots, in addition to offering different options to carry them out. However, the final objective is the same, that is, to have a piece of our screen, which we can keep or share instantly and by various methods with our contacts.
Screenshots on Motorola
Classic capture
The first method is performed by holding down the power button and the volume down button at the same time. It is important to press both buttons at the same time. Capture will take place one second after the buttons are pressed. If we have problems, it may help to remove the protective case or cover, as they sometimes offer resistance and can affect the function.

Long catch
To capture a larger piece of the screen we will have to proceed using the previous method and once the capture is made, click on the icon to be able to move around the screen and capture more content. Once the necessary piece has been selected, we will click on “Stop” before reaching the bottom of the page. It is a useful method to capture large chunks of web pages or some social network or messaging app.
Alternative method
It is possible that on many occasions, a terminal may have problems pressing several buttons simultaneously. The volume down button may not work properly. For these cases, we can use a method that is slower but has the same effect. They consist of leaving pressed the power button and then clicking on “Screenshot” that appears on the screen along with other options such as turning off the device.
Capture with three fingers
Unlike what we have seen in other brands, three-finger capture is done differently in Motorola, since we will not have to slide our fingers up or down. In order to carry out this method, we must first make sure that it is activated within the screen options.

To do this we go to the “Moto” application and tap on “Moto Options”. Then we activate the switch to enable the screenshot with three fingers. From this moment on, we will only have to press three fingers on the screen to capture.
What can we do with the catch?
Once the capture is made using any of the previous methods, we will be able to see various symbols to be able to interact with it. The first will allow us to trim the catch. We can also edit it by drawing on it or tap on the option that allows you to highlight a specific part. Of course, we can also tap on the share button or discard the capture to delete it.
