Pricing on Apple products is always a highly contentious issue. There will be those who consider expensive products, those who see them fair in relation to their quality and even those who see them cheap. In the end it is a subjective issue that depends on the perception of each one. Now, which is the cheapest and most expensive objectively? In this post we break down what those devices are today, even by each category.
For this article we have to say that we look at the prices set by Apple itself in its stores and not in third parties, where you can find some type of reduction sporadically. Nor do we take into account for this devices or accessories that are sold in their stores because they are compatible with their equipment, but which are not their brand.
Currently the most expensive Apple product
We have to go to the best of Macs today to find the most expensive Apple product. We refer to the Mac Pro , whose last renewal dates from 2019. With the most advanced configuration, this Mac reaches a whopping € 62,427.98 . For this, components as wild as the 28-core Intel Xeon W, 1.5 TB of RAM or 8 TB of storage have been added, without forgetting to add pre-installed software. If we also add accessories such as scroll wheels or a monitor, the cost would go up even more, although if we strictly stick to what the Mac is, that would be the limit.
And what is the cheapest thing you can find?
Only 10 euros is what the cheapest product that can currently be bought in an Apple Store costs and that is from the Californian company’s own brand. And what is? Well, a USB-C to 3.5 mm jack adapter and also a Lightning to 3.5 mm jack adapter . Unlike the more expensive one, you won’t be able to browse the internet or do the heaviest video editing tasks, but it comes in handy if you need to use wired headphones on your devices.

And having seen which ones are generally the most expensive and cheapest, let’s see for each category of the brand’s product which ones we find at the highest and lowest prices, as well as the difference between them.

- The most expensive Apple TV: Apple TV 4K (2021) with 64 GB of storage (219 euros)

Music devices
In this section we except accessories such as cables or similar that can be used for musical reproduction, taking into account only music devices as such:
- The most expensive music device: AirPods Max (629 euros)
- The cheapest music device: HomePod mini (99 euros)
- Difference: 530 euros.
Extra as the cheapest “device”
The AirTag with 35 euros of price remain in a strange point between device and accessory. If we classify it as one more product line of the company if it is the cheapest, although technically it cannot be considered a device as advanced as perhaps a HomePod already is. As for accessories, it would not be completely square in the category either and if it were, it would not be the cheapest if we take into account the adapters discussed above. That is why we believe it deserves a separate mention.
