Cheap mobiles flood the daily deals of portals like Amazon. It is not easy to opt for one model or another, since all brands have inexpensive and interesting options. Today we wanted to compare two very low technical range phones with are the LG K9 and the Xiaomi Redmi 7A.
Xiaomi is one of the companies that best champion the entry range. However, there are classic manufacturers such as Samsung or LG that maintain an economic portfolio that continues to scratch the sales pie. Let’s see in detail the differences between the LG K9 and the Xiaomi Redmi 7A.

Screen and dimensions
The first thing we see is that the screen of the LG K9 has 5 inches and an HD + resolution. The Redmi 7A raises this size to 5.45 inches, with the same resolution. Pixels per inch are slightly higher than the Xiaomi mobile with 295 ppi compared to 294 ppi for the LG K9. They also show a different aspect ratio with the 16: 9 of the LG and the 18: 9 of the Xiaomi.

As for weight and thickness, LG wins with its 8.2 millimeters and only 152 grams . The Redmi 7A has a thickness of 9.6 millimeters and 295 grams, much higher than the terminal of the Koreans. However, the LG K9 has much more pronounced frames than its rival, something that seriously affects its aesthetics in the middle of 2020 and that many users will take into account.
Processor and memory
When lifting the hood we find the Qualcomm seal in both cases. However, power and energy efficiency are on the side of the Redmi 7A, as it integrates the Snapdragon 439 versus the Snapdragon 210 of the LG K9. Both computers offer versions with 2 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of internal storage.

Simple cameras
If we take a look at the cameras we can not expect great boasts. The configuration of the LG K9 is very conservative, with an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front one, without missing the LED flash. The Redmi 7A raises the ante to 13 megapixels behind and 5 megapixels at the front.
Connections, SO and battery
We also see that both sport the essential basic connections, including of course Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS, not forgetting the 3.5mm headphone jack. The LG K9 came to the market with Android 7 Nougat, while the Redmi 7A has Android 9 Pie, an advantage that clearly unbalances the balance. In the battery section, we also see an important difference, since the LG K9 has 2,500 mAh compared to 4,000 mAh for the Redmi 7A.
The price of both
We found the LG K9 for about 102 euros. The Redmi 7A can be purchased for around 94 euros. Seeing the technical and price differences between the two devices, it is clear that it is worth more to get a Redmi 7A without a doubt.
