Leak: Features of the Samsung Galaxy S30

A few weeks ago the Korean store The Elec reported that the best of all the Galaxy S30 , apparently the Galaxy S30 Ultra, will be equipped with an S-Pen, making it impossible to distinguish this smartphone from a hypothetical Galaxy Note 30 .

Goodbye to the Galaxy Note?

In recent years, it has begun to be heard within the industry that the Galaxy Note range does not have a long life ahead of it. In fact, a rumor that has spread like wildfire is that the resemblance between the latest models of the S and Note range would cause the Galaxy Note 20 to be the last of this famous family.

It is true that the year 2020 has brought many changes and adjustments in almost all sectors, industries, companies and professions and it would be unreasonable if Samsung could reconsider its marketing strategy for next year leaving the August launches for its folding range, each time more numerous.

Taking into account that today the Note family is not dead, it is time to look at the next move from the manufacturer. Compatibility with the brand’s stylus is not a trivial matter, as it could turn the Galaxy S series device into a more powerful phone, especially in the field of productivity. Samsung is already considering whether to incorporate the S-Pen into the more premium model of the Galaxy S30 , testing its functionality and looking at its possible marketability before deciding to withdraw the Galaxy Note line.

At the figures level, the company sells about ten million phones of the Galaxy Note family each year, while the Galaxy S approximately triples these figures. This could lead the brand to focus its upcoming February releases on new members of the S family, while its August Unpacked would star new Z gold and Z Flip that could also feature an S-Pen. The rest of the year would be completed by new Samsung Galaxy M and Galaxy A.
