In the macro Xiaomi event that has taken place and where we have been able to see the Mi 11 Pro together with the Mi 11 Ultra, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has also been presented. This light version of the brand follows the strategy of previous years and models, offering a better value for money than what we have seen in the rest of the Mi 11 family.
A terminal that in terms of design, has great similarities with the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro, making it difficult for them to differ at first glance. But nevertheless, inside, the hardware does mark the distances for us and as we are going to see, we find a terminal that could fit into the premium mid-range.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, the cheap version of the Mi 11
We are used to finding a lighter version of the so-called flagship mobile of each of the brands and in this case it could not be less. The Mi 11 Lite that arrives on the market boasting of many things, including a 6.55-inch Amoled screen and Full HD + resolution . It incorporates a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a tactile sampling rate of 240 Hz with the now classic TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort and HDR10 protection. It has a 10-bit technology, which offers a greater variety of colors.
Among the most striking points of this terminal we find its striking design with a variety of colors such as purple, orange and black, the collars boast of being ultra light with just 157 grams of weight, incorporating the fingerprint reader on the side of the screen. The brand has insisted that we are facing one of the lightest phones on the market thanks to the fact that, in part, in its narrowest profile it is barely 6.81 mm thick.
Processor and technology of the Mi 11 Lite
The new member of the Mi 11 series uses the Snapdragon 732G processor, at least this 4G version , a processor manufactured in 8 nanometers. It comes along with UFS 2.2 and LPDDR4X technology memories in 6GB + 64GB or 6GB + 128GB memory options. It offers Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, Dual SIM and dual speakers with Hi-res Audio without any mention of the 3.5mm jack. As for the software, we will have Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 as standard with some fun effects for the selfie camera.
Battery and cameras
The battery is 4250 mAh and offers fast charging of 33W with a charger of the same power in the box, leaving wireless and reverse charging in this mess along the way. On the back we find a triple camera led by 64 Mpx with f / 1.79 aperture that is accompanied by an 8 Mpx wide angle and a last 5 Mpx macro lens. In the front we find a hole in the screen that stores the 20 Mpx of the selfie camera.
There is also a Mi 11 Lite 5G
To complete this new Mi 11 Lite, a model that boasts 5G technology and changes processor has been shown, in this case it includes the Snapdragon 780G . There are no changes in cameras, battery or in design or screen, thus maintaining all the features that make it a great alternative, but offering a somewhat higher price. It is unknown when it would arrive in our country.
Prices of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
As with the rest of the models, they have been presented in China, knowing the prices of the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite in Spain. Soon we will have dates of its arrival in Spain for the 5G model, although the Mi 11 Lite 4G model begins to be available from today.
