Samsung‘s Galaxy M family has just grown with the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy M12. This terminal has been leaked and rumored in recent weeks, but now it has just made an official appearance. As is usual in this series, the battery is one of the strengths of the terminal.
Many of Samsung’s more modest launches appear discreetly and without much noise on the official website of the firm in some country. This is what has just happened with the Galaxy M12, whose launch had no scheduled date, worse that it is already available on the Samsung website in Vietnam. Let’s take a look at its main technical characteristics.

Its technical characteristics
The Galaxy M12 arrives, how could it be otherwise, it goes up a notch and improves the technical features present in M11. However, we do not find compatibility with 5G networks, at least in this variant presented, since at the moment we do not know Samsung’s international marketing plans for this model. We see that it has a 6.5-inch Infinity-V screen with HD + resolution, and that it sports a notch to house the selfie sensor.

Inside we find an eight-core processor, not specified by Samsung, but that can be accompanied by 3,4, or 6 GB of RAM, along with variants of 32, 64 or 128 GB of storage, which can also be expanded up to 1TB via microSD cards. Regarding its brain, previous leaks stated that it would integrate the Exynos 850, so it is more than likely that it was the chip chosen for this terminal.
This Galaxy M12 sports four cameras on the back, with a 48 megapixel main sensor, a 5 megapixel wide angle and macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each. On the front and housed in the aforementioned notch, we find an 8 megapixel selfie sensor with a blur effect. It also has a large 6,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.

Price and date of sale
The terminal has been put on sale on the official Samsung website in Vietnam, and we see that it is available in green, turquoise and black colors . However, and although it already has a tab for purchase, its price has not been revealed yet. We hope to also know soon, Samsung’s plans to launch this terminal in Europe , as a new bet in the entry range of the Korean company to face 2021.
