5G technology is already a palpable reality. The main mobile operators in our country are gradually expanding their commercial offer, and there are more and more brands that do not conceive a launch (not even in the mid-range) without offering this connectivity. Today it was Realme, as it has totally democratized 5G, with the launch of the new Realme 7 5G.
Today was the day marked on the calendar by Realme, to make a relevant announcement. This virtual event has featured the new Realme 7 5G , which joins the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro, to offer a complete and economical alternative with 5G. But in addition, the terminal has surprising elements that are mainly in the high range, such as its screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
A screen to match
The Realme 7 5G sports a 6.5-inch screen with FullHD + resolution . As we can see, it has a hole in the upper part to house the selfie sensor. Realme has achieved an excellent screen-to-frame ratio, offering over 90% screen display. In addition, it is protected by Gorilla Glass.

As we say, it has a refresh rate of 120 Hz that improves the general fluidity of the screen in games or navigation. However, the terminal is able to automatically select the best update frequency for an application, to achieve a balance between a fluid display and battery consumption.
Brain with 5G
The 5G connectivity of the Realme 7 5G is made possible by the MediaTek 800U 5G processor. This is a chip manufactured in a 7nm process, which has managed to break the 340,000 point barrier in the famous AnTuTu performance program. This puts it at the forefront of performance in the mid-range. It consists of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.4GHz and six high-performance Cortex-A55 cores up to 2GHz, along with the Mali-G57 GPU, which ensures good gaming performance.

Realme has detailed that we are facing the first terminal in its price range that supports 5G dual SIM dual standby (DSDS). This means that it allows to connect 5G through any SIM card. It also supports 5G-CA (2CC 5G Carrier Aggregation) for a significant increase in performance and connection stability and is compatible with all 12 major 5G bands worldwide. Of course, it is also compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G bands. This processor comes with 6 GB of dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB internal memory with UFS 2.1 reading technology, which can be expanded using microSD cards.
Four cameras with 48 MP
At its rear we find a configuration of four rear cameras, with a 48 megapixel main sensor with f / .8 aperture and six lenses. It comes with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 119º angle and macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each. In addition, in the front hole we find a 16 megapixel selfie sensor with f / 2.1 aperture.

The Realme 7 5G has advanced camera features that we find in many high-end devices of the firm. The main ones include Super Night Mode, Expert Mode, HDR, Ultra macro, intelligent scene recognition or slow motion. You can also record video in FullHD resolution at 30 fps.
Battery and connections
The battery is another of the strengths of the device, since the Realme 7 5G has no less than 5,000 mAh compatible with Realme’s 30W Dart Charge fast charge . This allows you to fully charge the device in 65 minutes or achieve a charge close to 50% in just 26 minutes.

The Realme 7 5G has the main connections, including Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS connection with AGPS, Glonass or Galileo. Nor does it lack the fingerprint sensor integrated in the power button, to be able to have a fast and safe unlocking. Of course, it moves with the house-brand Realme UI layer , based on Android 10.

Price and date of sale
Realme has once again considered the European market first, to introduce the Realme 7 5G it will become the most affordable 5G phone this year. Its official price is 279 euros, but, as taking advantage of Black Friday, users can get it for 229 euros from November 27 to 30 exclusively on Amazon, whose pre-sale begins today. With this price, it becomes the cheapest 5G smartphone that we can buy right now.
