Launch of the LG W41, W41 + and W41 Pro: Features and Price

Its design and some of its features had previously been filtered by Evan Blass, but only now have the new LG W41 been made official. There are three models that make up this series: W41, W41 + and W41 Pro. Contrary to what it might seem, all terminals share the common DNA of the entry range, and their differences are based on RAM and storage capacities.

The three devices have been presented in India, in addition, LG has wanted to highlight that their manufacture has been carried out in that country. The LG W41, W41 +, W41 Pro could seem very different devices, but they are so different, in a somewhat strange strategy on the part of the Korean company. What can be seen are significant technical improvements compared to the W31 that were presented last year and even more so with the W30 of 2019.

Technical characteristics of the new LG W41

All LG W41s have a strong low-cost character, but LG has used poly-carbonate in their manufacture, to try to give them a Premium touch, in addition to having a button dedicated to the Google Assistant. As we say, the strategy is somewhat strange, since all terminals are the same, unlike RAM and internal storage.

In this sense, the W41 is the most modest of the series with a version of 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage, the W41 + has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the W41 Pro has 6GB of RAM and 128GB. GB of storage. Basically, LG has given three different names to the same phone instead of launching just one and offering memory variants.

They all feature a 6.55-inch Full Vision screen with an HD + resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. This panel supports a maximum brightness of 400 nits and has a hole to house the selfie sensor. Inside we find the MediaTek Helio G35, an entry-level chip, but with eight cores running at a maximum speed of 2.3 Ghz.

At the rear we find a module with four cameras, with a 48 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel wide angle, and macro and depth sensors of 5 and 2 megapixels respectively. This camera is powered by AI and has functions such as slow motion, time-lapse, bokeh effect, HDR, as well as a large number of filters.

Of course, we are not talking about 5G devices and they do not even come with Android 11, although it is expected that they can make the jump soon from Android 10. The entire series has a 5,000 mAh battery although the capacity of its capacity has not been detailed load.
