How many updates will there be?

It is curious to see how devices such as the iPhone 6s launched in 2015 can continue to update their software and that they will also do so until 2021, since iOS 14 will not be the only software version to be released from now on. As usual, successive updates will come like iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2, iOS 14.3 and so on until the arrival of ’15’, which will be another completely different system. The exact number of updates to come is unknown, in iOS 13 for example it has reached ’13 .6 ‘when it was not generally used to go beyond the fourth. It will be in these versions that interesting novelties are incorporated that have not been announced at WWDC 2020, although other intermediates such as iOS 14.1.2 and the like could also arrive to correct specific errors that arise.
As we said before, it is curious to see that older teams continue to update their software and although it is evident that it will not work as smoothly on an iPhone 6s as on an iPhone 11 Pro, in the end both will be enjoying to a greater or lesser extent the news and, above all, security improvements that will keep the device reliable and cannot enter malware that compromises your data.
When will iOS 14 be released?
The date on which we will officially see iOS 14 on compatible iPhones is still unknown. The process that will follow is identical to that of other occasions, meeting with the summer months for the developers to test the betas with the aim that it can be released in September . Perhaps this will vary depending on whether the launch of the iPhone 12 is delayed too much or not. In any case, it seems more than evident that the betas time would not be prolonged too much. At the time it is available, it will appear in Settings> General> Software update, although prior to that versions such as iOS 13.6 will have to arrive and who knows if any more intermediate between this and 14.
