The new iPhone 12 may be more expensive. They may also mount cheaper batteries and not even carry the charger in the retail box. But… what does that matter when Apple‘s new phone will come with a hat new color ?!

The Taiwanese publication DigiTimes claims that a dark blue iPhone will be available “for the first time” in the apple catalog after the iPhone 11 Pro could be bought last year in a curious shade of green. In addition to adding a dark blue model to the products of the iPhone family, Apple will also introduce changes to its phones at the screen level, camera and telecommunications modem.
According to XDA Developers professional Max Weinbach , Apple already wanted, since January, at least one of the iPhone 12 models to go on sale with a new navy blue finish. The expert in the Cupertino ecosystem points out that this new color, called Navy Blue, could replace the Midnight Green finish that was featured in last year’s top of the range.

It may or may not be true but the truth is that Weinbach has already spoiled the brand’s plans on previous occasions by advancing the new colors of its future iPhone. Another rumor, less credible, suggests that the iPhone 12 models could come in light blue, violet and orange tones.

Apple confirmed last month that the launch of its new phones would have to be delayed this year due to the current global health crisis and travel restrictions. Last year, Apple began selling its iPhones in late September, but this year, the company’s offering will be “available a few weeks later,” suggesting a launch sometime in October. Apple used to announce its launch event at the end of August and today this has not been the case so the delay in the presentation would be confirmed.
The brand is expected to launch four iPhones in three different sizes this year: a 5.4-inch iPhone, a 6.7-inch iPhone, and two 6.1-inch iPhones. One 6.1-inch model and the 6.7-inch model will be high-end iPhones, the “Pro” models, while the other 6.1-inch iPhone and 5.4-inch iPhone will be low-end models and successors to the iPhone 11. All of them would be compatible with 5G networks, which is why they will be the most expensive in the history of the firm.

In the “Pro” versions, a 3D camera similar to the LiDAR scanner will be included that we can already see in the iPad Pro 2020 but the new rumors speak of the presence of a second rear camera with optical image stabilization by sensor change. This technology allows optical image stabilization to be applied to the camera’s sensor, rather than to individual lenses, all of which have the same system.
