The range of possibilities that we have in Spain in terms of second brands of large operators and MVNOs is very wide. They are launching more and more aggressive offers and contracting mobile Internet at an adjusted price that does not exceed 30 euros per month in many cases is within everyone’s reach. Best of all, we can contract convergent fiber and mobile rates at a low cost price when, in almost all cases, virtual mobile operators use the same fixed and mobile networks as the large operators. Among the proposals that are around 30-35 euros per month we find Digi, Lowi, O2, Simyo and Finetwork. This is the price war right now.
A couple of days ago we informed you about Digi’s hard hit in the market. The Romanian operator surprised us with more free gigabytes in its rates and lower prices in some of its services. A twist to a scenario in which low cost operators want to gain as much ground as possible. Finding fiber and mobile for 30 euros a month is a reality at the moment and the fight of the operators is to offer convergent rates between 30 and 40 euros , even in some cases for less.
The battle between Digi, Lowi, O2, Simyo and Finetwork
We are going to analyze what Digi, Lowi, O2, Simyo and Finetwork offer around 30-40 euros per month. The usual thing is that we only find one rate per operator, but in some cases there is more than one possibility available. At the moment this is the rivalry between them.

This week Digi has returned to the fray adding more than double the gigabytes to all its mobile rates without raising the price and lowering it in several of its services. The Romanian operator allows us to build our à la carte convergent rate, being able to select the fiber speed and the gigabytes to navigate on the mobile.
One of Digi’s most impressive fiber and mobile combinations is the possibility of having 1 Gb SMART fiber (only available in areas where they have deployed their own fiber network) and unlimited calls and data for 35 euros per month . Digi is an MVNO that uses Movistar coverage and if you live in an area where it does not have its own fiber deployed, you will be able to contract 300 Mbps fiber and mobile with unlimited calls and 20 GB for 31 euros per month. We can also increase the speed to 1 Gbps for 5 euros per month and increase or decrease the number of gigabytes. If we do not want to overcome the barrier of 30 euros, a good option is 300 Mbps fiber and 10 GB of data for 30 round euros per month. Digi’s tenure is 3 months.

Lowi’s cheap fiber offer is valid until February 28 , although as we have seen on other occasions, it is quite likely that the offer will be extended for at least one more month. In the second brand of Vodafone we can a symmetrical fiber rate of 100 Mbps with a mobile line with unlimited calls and 10 GB to browse for 29.95 euros per month.
A convergent rate that does not have a fixed telephone and applies a minimum stay of 3 months. Another option that Lowi gives us is to add additional lines from 2.95 euros per month. Overcoming the barrier of 30 euros, we have the option of 300 Mbps fiber, unlimited calls and 25 GB for 34.95 euros per month. In Lowi, if you spend the gigabytes of your rate, you can accumulate them for the following month.

O2
In Telefónica’s low cost option we will find a rate with symmetrical fiber of 100 Mb landline with unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles, mobile phone with unlimited calls, unlimited SMS and 10 gigabytes to browse for 30 euros per month.
At O2 they are not going to impose any type of permanence commitment on us and both the installation and the HGU router are free. The fiber network and mobile coverage will be the same as with Movistar and we can contract up to 4 additional mobile lines and share the data between them.

As in Digi, in Simyo we can also configure our rate at will. Orange’s low cost brand offers us 100 Mbps symmetrical fiber and a mobile line with 14 GB to browse and unlimited calls for 28.99 euros per month.
The permanence in this case is 3 months and if we need more data to navigate on the mobile or higher fiber speed, the amount to be paid per month does not go up too much. If we need more gigabytes, we can have the same fiber connection and 25 GB for 32.99 euros per month. In the event that we need higher fiber speed, we can go up to 300 Mbps and 14 gigabytes to navigate for 31.99 euros or 25 gigabytes for 35.99 euros.

Finally, we finish this review of fiber and mobile rates around 30 euros with Finetwork. In this case we have several options. On the one hand, 100 Mb fiber, mobile line with 12 GB to browse, unlimited calls up to 6,000 minutes and 1,000 free SMS included for 29.90 euros per month with Vodafone coverage.

On the other hand, it places two rates around 35 euros per month . The first has 300 Mbps fiber, unlimited calls up to 6,000 minutes, Rakuten TV Subscription included, 1,000 free SMS included and Vodafone coverage with 24GB to browse for 34.90 euros. The second option has the same benefits, but changes the fiber for a 100 Mbps mode and the mobile for two mobile lines with unlimited calls and 9 GB to browse each one for 34.70 euros per month.
