Chrome is the most used browser, and therefore, so are all its extensions. Therefore, if we wanted to use another browser, we could not use them and we would have to look for alternatives. Unless, of course, this other browser was based on the Chromium. This browser is open source, and therefore, its engine can be used by other browsers.
Chromium, being open source and offering full compatibility with Chrome extensions, its engine is widely used by other developers. Therefore, we can find known browsers based on this engine, such as Opera, and even the new Edge Chromium.
Therefore, being based on these browsers in Chromium, we can make use of the extensions that have been developed for Chrome and are available in its Web Store.

The list of available browsers based on Chromium continues, but there we have those that we believe are better. While what matters to us is to have these extensions, we will choose the browser that best suits what we have already been using for our convenience.
Install Google Chrome extensions in another browser
For this we will only have to choose one of the browsers mentioned above, or look for one of which we are sure that said browser is. Once this is solved, we will just have to enter the browser and look for the official Chrome store.
Once we enter this message will appear, and we must install this extension which will make our browser compatible, in this case Opera, with these applications.
When we have installed it, the icon will appear as any Chrome extension is shown.
We will look for the extension we want in the Chrome store, and we will click on “ Add to Opera ”
Then he will send us a message, which we will click on “Accept” and will take us to the next page which will definitely install the extension in our browser. When we have clicked on “Install” a green bar will appear, we will wait for it to be removed, and that is when we will have it installed.
The extension with the square of colors, is the one that manages our extensions installed from the Chrome Store, and where we can see what permissions they have, the size and others.

The examples have been used with Opera, although the use of other browsers is recommended and that each user adapts to the one that suits him. That it is based on Chromium does not mean that it has the same functions, nor that the appearance is similar, in any case.
