I have always been a defender that the ideal size for an iPhone is 6.1 inches , and the truth is that I have been able to corroborate it with just a few days of using this iPhone 14.
The size of the iPhone 14 Pro Max has many good things , such as a larger screen to be able to see the content better and, above all, and the reason why I always bet on this model, a battery that is a joy. However, it has a point against it, which is comfort , it is much more uncomfortable to use than models like the iPhone 14 Pro or the iPhone 14, although it must be said, there comes a time when you get used to it.
However, the fact of using the iPhone in one hand and feeling completely comfortable in it, the weight and even the fact of carrying it in my pocket have been aspects that have really prompted me to rethink the fact of when Apple launches the next iPhone 15, change my Pro Max for an iPhone 15 Pro, and now I’ll tell you why not the iPhone 15.
What I have missed
Obviously, and it was something I expected, I have missed certain points that my iPhone 14 Pro Max has and that this iPhone 14 does not. The first of them, and surely all of you who are reading this post have guessed it, is the battery . There is no iPhone that can compete with the Pro Max at the battery level, and after a day you end up noticing it a lot, since I have had to use the famous MagSafe batteries daily.
Another point that I have missed is the telephoto lens , and well, it is true that it is usually the one that is used the least, but after all, I am also dedicated to creating content on social networks, having the telephoto lens of the iPhone is an advantage when taking certain photographs. And I have to be honest, I thought I wasn’t going to miss him so much, but in the end it hasn’t been like that.
To finish, two other aspects that I have lacked in this iPhone 14 are, on the one hand, the ProMotion screen , the jump from 120 Hz of the iPhone 14 Pro Max to 60 Hz of the iPhone 14 is quite noticeable, although you will be back in a short time to get used to it, and on the other hand, the Dynamic Island , and it is that despite the fact that the developers have not yet taken full advantage of what it offers, personally it was something that I used with apps like music, timers and other apps that do They take advantage of it, and that in this iPhone 14 I have not been able to use since the already traditional notch is still present.
