Huawei continues its plans (somewhat disrupted) to launch. This time it is the turn of the input range, with the arrival of the new Huawei Y6p and Huawei Y5p. Both terminals stand out for the economic price and for coming with EMUI 10.1, in the same way as the most powerful mobiles of the firm. In this case, there will be no trace of Google Services either.
The plans cannot be stopped and the machinery continues to operate. Life without Google is a reality and Huawei clings to its experience and good reputation to continue starting sales around the world. We know that China is a parallel universe where Google services are not very relevant. Huawei now returns to the fray, trying with two new inexpensive terminals and updated to the latest with EMUI 10.1. In addition and as an incentive for its purchase, Huawei has announced that users who acquire one of these two new mobiles, between June 15 and August 31, will be able to enjoy 50 GB of storage in Huawei Cloud for 3 months and 6 months Huawei Music, completely free of charge.
Huawei Y6p
Screen with notch
The new Huawei Y6p features a 6.3-inch IPS screen with HD + resolution , which sports a drop-shaped notch to house the front sensor. The terminal features a rear fingerprint sensor to ensure user safety even in this input range.
Processor and memory
Inside we find a Mediatek MT6762R processor , accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 512 GB through microSD cards. Plus, it integrates a huge 5,000 mAh battery, and can be used as a one-way reverse charger to charge other phones.
Modest triple camera
In the camera section, it has three sensors, led by a 13-megapixel main camera , accompanied by a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a 120º viewing angle and a third 2-megapixel sensor. The front sensor housed in the notch reaches 8 megapixels.

Huawei has confirmed that the Y6p is already available in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Phantom Purple colors at a price of 149 euros through the official Huawei website and online portals such as Amazon.
Huawei Y5p
Screen with frames
We are facing a cheaper bet even if possible. The Huawei Y5p becomes the cheapest mobile on the market with EMUI 10.1. It has a panoramic screen, FullView HD + of 5.45 inches, wearing classic frames that can be “ignored” when facing an input range that does not reach 100 euros. HUAWEI Y5p also incorporates intelligent AI facial recognition, which try to make up for the lack of a fingerprint sensor.
Processor and memory
Inside we find another MediaTek brain, in this case the Mediatek MT6762R, which comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded to 512 GB using microSD cards. It has a 3,020 mAh battery without quick charge but with EMUI 10.1 functions for smart energy saving.
Simple cameras
As for its cameras, the Huawei Y5p has a square module with an 8 megapixel lens and HDR mode to achieve balanced artistic effects even in low light conditions. At the front we find a 5 megapixel front camera.
