If the fight is fierce in the middle range, it is no less in the entry range. The cheapest mobiles of each brand try to offer the maximum at the lowest price. Two examples with the Huawei Y5 2019 and the Samsung Galaxy A10 . Both are very sold in their respective brands and often offered as a zero cost claim by some operators. Ho we wanted to compare both terminals to see which one is worth more.
Many people do not need to reach 150 euros to have a mobile that meets all their needs. Each brand has at least one option in this price range and Samsung and Huawei compete hard to take the biggest piece of the cake. In this comparison we will see two very basic terminals technically, but that have some important differences that will tip the balance to the side.
Screen and dimensions
The two terminals have a panel with HD + resolution. However, the Huawei Y5 2019 has a size of 5.7 inches , while the Galaxy A10 goes up to 6.2 inches. The two phones sport a drop-shaped notch where the selfie camera is integrated. The two terminals offer a relationship between screen and similar frame, but it is Galaxy A10 hurry improves this aspect, especially in the lower chin.
We see how the Huawei Y5 is lighter with its 146 grams, but offers a thickness much higher than the Galaxy A10 reaching 8.4 millimeters. The Samsung terminal weighs 1 68 grams and is 7.9 millimeters thick. The weight in the Samsung terminal can be justified by a larger battery, as we will see later.
Processor and memory
Under the hood we find the MediaTek Helio A22 for the Huawei terminal and the Exynos 7884 on the Galaxy. They are two basic processors, but performance is on the side of Exynos, which is a more powerful and advanced processor. The two terminals offer versions with 2 GB of RAM and a maximum of 32 GB of internal storage. This capacity can also be expanded using microSD cards in both cases.
Single cameras
Do not go crazy in the cameras section, although the input range is gradually increasing the number of sensors. However, here we find a classic and clonic configuration in both teams. That is, a 13 megapixel sensor in the rear and 5 megapixels in the front. However we can see different openings, being f / 1.8 on the 13 megapixel sensor of the Y5, and f / 1.9 on the Galaxy. The Y5 selfie sensor offers an aperture of f / 2.2 and f / 2.0 on the Samsung.
Connections, OS and battery
The connections are basic but sufficient in the two terminals, including Bluetooth 5, GPS and fingerprint sensor in the back. The two move with Android 9 Pie and the EMUI 9 and One UI layers respectively. As for the autonomy, we see that the Huawei Y5 2019 has 3,020 mAh and no fast charging. The Galaxy A10 for its part, reaches 3,400 mAh and is compatible with fast charging.
Important price difference
By taking a look at the prices, we see that right now we can buy the Y5 2019 at Amazon for 89 euros. The Galaxy A10 can be ours for about 128 euros. This is a difference of almost 40 euros between both terminals. If we seek to hurry the budget to the maximum, Y5 2019 is our candidate. However, if that difference is not an obstacle, the A10 offers more screen, better processor and battery to consider first.
