The updates do not stop on the side of Huawei and all the phones that were updated last month, new updates arrive. EMUI 11 could become the latest version of this well-known customization layer along with the Android operating system at least, since Harmony OS is already around the corner and its news will not take long to be known in the face of smartphones.
But before that great revolution, what all users of a Huawei mobile with or without Google services want to receive, are those promised news that the company seems to be rushing to offer. Knowing the plan that Huawei has structured, everything seems to indicate that if nothing strange happens, Huawei’s updates in December and January will be key for many devices throughout Europe.
Huawei models that are updated with EMUI 11
This month of December is the one chosen for the owners of the Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro + to receive EMUI 11. Although the wait has not been too long, some were already beginning to despair to be able to test the news and after a beta version that has served Huawei to correct errors and problems, the Huawei P40 is updated with EMUI 11 and its news.
To these we add the popular Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei’s first high-end mobile that arrived without Google services and that in one way or another changed the company’s destiny. Other smartphones that may receive EMUI 11 but only in beta form are the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, for which their final turn will arrive in the month of January.

Honor devices receiving Magic UI 4.0
On the part of Honor, the company that is in the process of separating from Huawei still depends on this layer of customization and there are serious doubts about what will happen next. For now, what we know is that Magic UI 4.0 follows its update plan and for this month of December it is only expected that the owners of the Honor 30 in its different versions will continue to receive the update all over the world.

Finally, there is sad news for the owners of a Huawei mobile with EMUI 10, as well as previous versions, as the company has not updated its plans for EMUI 10.1 again and with the latest EMUI 10.1 updates for the Huawei Nova 5T everything would remain closed in order to focus entirely on EMUI 11 and of course on Harmony OS.
If we have a mobile that has been on the verge of updating, we would only have to consult in the Huawei forum if there is any extra plan that may allow us to update it, although it would be strange if this happened. On other occasions, the force of a large number of users has allowed some actions, although at least everyone who has EMUI 10 can be sure that they will end up enjoying Petal Search and Huawei’s own apps from the App Gallery.
