SMS text messages are used less and less, at least for what we used it originally. The SMS inbox has become a collection of verification codes for different services or company promotions that we wonder about, where they got our number from. However, there is still a function for which texting is still extremely useful.

We are referring to the automatic SMS that we can send when someone makes a call to us but we are busy. The most natural action may be to silence the call or reject it, but the third option is even more useful, since by means of an automatic SMS we can tell our contact why we cannot answer. However, on Huawei mobiles we can edit these notices , whose default responses may not completely convince us, so the option to modify them is also present.
Customize rejection messages
By customizing these messages we can predefine others that best suit our circumstances. For example, in which Huawei integrates by default , there is none that refers to “I am going to drive, then I will call you” or any other personal circumstance in which we generally reject calls or with which we want to give a more personal touch to these automatic messages.
In the call settings
To be able to modify them we will have to enter the telephone dialer of our Huawei mobile , and enter the settings, tapping on the three points in the upper right. Once inside, we will have to go down to the bottom and tap on the option “Reply with SMS”.

Rewrite default messages
Once inside we will see the four responses by default that our mobile includes to reject calls and send the automated message. We will not be able to add new ones, but we will be able to edit all the ones. To do this we will only have to click on any of it and instantly an edit box will open in which we can modify or rewrite the quick response from scratch.

Once done we will only have to click on “accept” so that the answer is memorized . Now, when someone calls us, we can use it by clicking on “Message” on the incoming call screen. There we will see the new memorized option, which will receive our contact and alert you to why we cannot answer the call.
