Once inside we have to go to the Anti-virus and threat protection tab. There you have to enter Protection History .
There we will see all the files and programs that Windows Defender has blocked. If we click on one of them and confirm, it will show us information such as the name, when it was detected or the route. We will see that on the right there is an arrow to display different options.
We can remove that warning, quarantine it, or allow it. The latter is what will prevent Windows Defender from blocking that file or application. Once again, we should only do this if we are sure that the file or program is really reliable. Otherwise we could put our equipment at risk.
How can we reverse the situation? Let’s say that by mistake we have allowed a file or program and we realize that it really is a threat. To do this, we go back to Antivirus and threat protection, but this time we give Allowed threats .
In case we have added a file or program to this list of allowed threats in Windows Defender, they will appear. If we have not added any, it will simply appear as in the image above.
