Among the novelties that Android 11 has brought to smartphones, chat bubbles are one of the elements that most change our use with the mobile. Messaging applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram are an important part and that is why Google has wanted to give them greater importance and facilitate their interaction through the bubbles that are inspired by Facebook Messenger.

Its possibilities allow us not to have to be opening the application or not even respond from the notification. In this way, we do not have so many limitations to send audios, emoticons or attachments, but we have everything in a floating window that allows us to quickly continue with our tasks without being interrupted by a conversation.
Activate chat bubbles on Android
This process for now is only valid on Android 11 and will be the main requirement to fulfill to enjoy it. It is also important to have the latest versions of the messaging apps where we want to use them; Telegram and Messenger were the first to allow it. To start enjoying them, we just have to wait to receive a message from a contact and in the notification itself we will see an icon in the lower right that we point to.

Just by touching it, it will be displayed and active in this conversion. This means that in the rest of the contacts or groups we will also have to activate it, since the properties are not unified throughout the app, but are separated. Tapping on another part of the screen or on the same bubble will minimize the conversation within the chat bubble so that we can continue with what we were doing.
Disable chat bubbles
The process to deactivate chat bubbles is not very different, we can do it from the notification itself that will appear at the top and then by tapping on the same button with which we activated it. In case it does not appear or we prefer to do it in another way, we will have to follow these steps:

- We access the Android 11 settings.
- We go to the applications and notifications section.
- We click on conversations.
- Inside we choose the one we want to disable.
- And finally we deactivate the option “turn this conversation into a bubble”.
Over time we will discover if the Android customization layers integrate the options to use chat bubbles or if it is limited as an option directly linked to Android stock.
