First of all, what we have to do is log into Gmail with our data. There we will see a section called “Send as” . There we have to click on Add another email address. It will automatically open a pop-up window where we have to put our name (or whatever name we want to give to that account) and email.
Before giving Add account we can put the corresponding SMTP server, as well as the port. We can also choose if we want a secure connection through TLS (which is recommended, secure connection through SSL or without secure connection. We will also have to put the password of the account.
The next step will be to confirm the account . We will receive a code to the email of our website and this code we will have to put it in Gmail, in the window to verify that it is really our account.
From that moment we will be able to use the email account of our website in Gmail and be able to receive and send emails. Keep in mind that by default it is not activated as the first account and we will continue to reply to emails from the main account. We can change this at any time.
When we want to send an email from the new address that we have added, we simply click on Compose and in the From field we click and change to the other address. It is a simple process.
