This problem might not seem too serious if we counted on minimal consumption, but nevertheless the results that have been released are scary. Through Reddit and social networks, they have begun to talk about this problem by which more and more users are being affected and before which Samsung phones seem to be the most affected.

Although Google itself should be the one that takes the most care of the battery in Android, the error appears again because of it. In it we can see how Google is the highest consumption and has not even been active.
Google’s background process has caused 50.1% of the battery to disappear in a total discharge time of 24 hours, as the user himself explains in the Reddit thread. But this has not been the only one affected, because as a result of this story, others have explained that in the last hours their Samsung mobile has also suffered this problem and other users with different mobiles also corroborate the error.
What can we do to fix it?
As soon as we observe how the mobile battery drops sharply, we can think that the mobile battery is broken, but further from reality just by entering Settings> Battery> Battery use, let’s see if Google is causing the problem as has happened to so many users. In case this is the case, we will have to do the following:
- We enter Settings and then applications.
- Now we search Google and access it.
- The next thing will be to enter Storage to proceed to clear the cache. We can test if this solves it or continue with the steps.
- To end the problem at its root, we have to enter the Battery use section.
- Finally we tap on Restriction in the background.
Once Google has managed to fix the consumption problem and we update the app from Google Play, we just have to fly to Settings> Applications> Google> Battery use and remove the restriction in the background so that it works as it should .
