When building an Apple ecosystem, it’s crucial to prioritize the key devices that form the foundation. In my opinion, the iPhone serves as the central hub, and with a budget of 3,000 euros, I would opt for the iPhone 13, available on Apple’s website for 909 euros. This model strikes a perfect balance between quality and price, offering essential features, reliable battery life, a great display, and impressive cameras.
Next on the list of essentials is a Mac, which plays a vital role in my daily routine. Considering the amount already spent on the iPhone (909 euros), we have 2,091 euros remaining to invest. For an excellent quality-to-price ratio, I recommend the MacBook Air with the M1 chip, priced at 1,219 euros. Although it may seem less powerful at first glance, the M1 processor delivers exceptional performance, enabling users to tackle virtually any task efficiently.
With the iPhone and MacBook Air, our total investment would amount to 2,128 euros, leaving us with 872 euros to wisely allocate for additional benefits within the Apple ecosystem. It’s important to remember that these two devices—iPhone and Mac—are the cornerstones that offer the best overall experience, while other devices revolve around them, complementing the ecosystem.
“Accessories” for the ecosystem
In my experience, one accessory that is essential and cannot be overlooked is the AirPods. However, I want to make a cost-effective choice, which is why I opt for the second-generation AirPods Pro. These headphones perfectly complement both the iPhone and Mac, offering excellent sound quality, impressive noise cancellation, and exceptional comfort. Considering our remaining budget of 872 euros, we subtract the cost of the AirPods Pro (299 euros), leaving us with 573 euros.
Now, let’s discuss the Apple Watch. For a balance of performance and affordability, the clear choice is the Apple Watch SE (2022) in the 44mm version. Priced at 339 euros, this model may not have the latest sensors or an always-on display, but it retains essential features such as notification management and daily fitness tracking.
As we approach the end of our budget, we have 234 euros left to invest wisely. Personally, I believe that music is integral to our daily lives. Therefore, I would choose to purchase two HomePod minis, allowing us to create a sound system in the bedroom or living room at home without breaking the bank. These compact speakers offer impressive audio quality and smart features. With this choice, our total investment amounts to 2,966 euros, resulting in a highly functional and enjoyable Apple ecosystem.
